Poland
Belonging to the Central European region, Poland is more of an underrated tourist destination with a strong cultural and historical heritage. It is bordered by 8 countries: Germany in the west, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Lithuania in the south and east, respectively. Poland’s northern neighbor is bordered by the Baltic Sea entirely around it.
Its climate and terrain include features of the Mediterranean, Germanic, Eastern European, and Slavic countries, ranging from the Baltic coast beaches to the Carpathian Tatra mountains. Tourist attractions that must be seen are the historic center of Kraków, the articular one in Warsaw, or the Auschwitz and Wieliczka Salt Mine sites that are listed under UNESCO. Tourist attraction sites include lake districts, the Baltic Coast, and other parks and forests, for example, Bialowieza Forest. Being a discoverer of the ocean and of the New World, Poland’s uniqueness is reflected today with Amber jewelry and splendid destinations that range from vivid cities, picture book villages, and unparalleled natural landscapes and history. This renders Poland a place any traveler will soon wish to visit.
