The Netherlands, especially in spring, is a bowl of colorful flowers that are aromatic, especially the famous tulip flowers painting the countryside. The main venue of this floral riot is the Keukenhof Gardens, a place internationally known as the symbol of tulip culture in the Netherlands. Here, you instantly find yourself surrounded by a pleasant and warm splash of colors, ranging from fiery reds and warm sunshine yellows to tender pinks and deep purples. This place is surrounded by the sweet smell of millions of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths to give an individual an excitement of all the senses.

Take a hot-air balloon ride for a new kind of view of the place, especially over the tulip gardens. Suspended right above the brightly colored area of the photo, it imbues a sense of the true vastness of this natural phenomenon. Besides the gardens with the famed flowers, they have beautiful cities and towns to visit in the Netherlands. Stroll along the beautiful waterways, beautiful bridges, and the old gabled houses in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam. Opt for a stroll through the Delft to see the famous blue and white ceramics, or hire bicycles and go for a ride through the countryside marked with windmills.

Such a place of interest is the dynamic, inviting, and brilliantly engaging Floriade World Expo held in the Netherlands every ten years. This horticultural event presents solutions to environmental problems, new towns, gardens and plants, and plant innovations. Numerous themed pavilions, innovative futuristic green technologies, and a cable car giving a bird’s-eye view of the site demonstrate what the world’s major cities of the future will look like and how they will protect the environment.

For the most comfortable ride, you can hire a bicycle, which would allow you to cross the countryside and stop to enjoy the beautiful multicolored cloths on the fields. A local guide tour can be arranged to help the visitor get acquainted with the history and relevance of the Dutch bulb industry.

Visit the gardens at the right time because the tulip blooms are short-lived, for this is their main attraction. Do not leave your camera at home – as far as photographic material goes, it just does not get any better!
