The beauty of New Zealand in April is that autumn unfolds the beautiful golden view of the country, making it a paradise for outdoor lovers and photographers. This island country has a wide variety of tourist sites that would suit everyone who is interested in adventure and nature lovers.

To explore starts in Queenstown, a resort town that is the starting point for Fiordland National Park. Yes, this place is where you can satisfy all the daring you have with bungee jumping, skydiving, or even jet boating through the exciting gorges. If you prefer something calmer, take the Routeburn Track that goes through the hiking trail, featuring mists, mountains, bright-green lakes, and valleys of gold.

Proceeding further south of the island, you will be greeted by Mount Cook National Park. This mountainous country has Aoraki Mount Cook, which is the highest mountain in New Zealand, with glaciers, mountains, and attractive blue-green lakes all around. For this trail specifically, I can recommend the Hooker Valley Track, and glacial walking tours, which are quite an exciting way to look into history on ice.

The North Island, too, offers slightly different terrain. Visit the town of Rotorua, where you can see the signs of an active geothermal area: hot and boiling mud, multicolored terraces, and gushing geysers. To experience a cultural experience, try living in a traditional Maori settlement for one night, where tourists are entertained by Maori performances and songs.

Among the attractions of the region, visitors should certainly see Waitomo Glowworm Caves, the extraordinary underwater caverns filled with Glowworms, thousands of which light up the grotto. Go through the caves with a boat and watch the ceiling, which resembles the night sky because of these minuscule organisms. This ethereal experience turns a pretty good trip to New Zealand into an amazing one.

If time is a constraint, take a helicopter ride over the Southern Alps. Or better still, take a Lord of the Rings tour being conducted by the Kiwis, who will be full of tips as this famous film was shot around New Zealand.

There is diverse geography in New Zealand, with something as simple as snow fields and gigantic mountains or as simple as great forests and sandy shores. If you are looking for some thrilling adventures, tranquil natural beauty, or cultural experiences, this island country always provides a memorable trip that will make you want to come back again to explore other secret treasures.
